When is the History Festival?

The 2019 History Festival opens on 27 to 29 April with Open Doors – three days of events focusing on South Australia's buildings and architectural history.

Where can I get a copy of the printed program?

The History Festival printed program will be available in The Advertiser on Saturday 6 April 2019.

The program will start arriving at libraries, local councils, visitor information centres and event organisers from Tuesday 9 April.

How do I make a booking?

Bookings are managed by indivdual event organisers. To make a booking, either click 'book online' (if applicable), or contact the organisers directly via the email address or phone number listed. Please note that many events have limited numbers and may book out quickly. Read more about How do I make a booking? >

How do I use the Festival Planner?

Use the History Festival Planner to create a personalised program of events. 

To add an event to the Planner, click on 'Add to my Planner' in the event listing. 

The list of events in your planner will grow as you add more items. You can print out a list of the events in your planner at any time. (Remember to check your printer settings to optimise the printer output.) Read more about How do I use the Festival Planner? >
