Testimony from Australis OSCAR Team Member

A group of University of Melbourne science and engineering students joined forces in the 1960s to build a satellite in their spare time – it would be called Australis OSCAR 5. In January 1970, the first satellite to be built in Australia was launched by NASA. One of the original members of the Australis OSCAR 5 team, Owen Mace, will talk of his experiences during the build to mark the 50th anniversary of the historic launch.
