Brownhill Creek Recreation Park / Wirraparinga Historic Walk

Enjoy a walk, led by Ron Bellchambers, in one of South Australia’s oldest parks, in the picturesque Brownhill Creek Valley and gain a fascinating insight into the heritage of this historic site. Wirraparinga is the traditional Kaurna name for this land, which is still an important part of living Kaurna culture today. Brownhill Creek Valley played a pivotal role in the lives of the Kaurna people for countless generations and also in the European settlement of the South Australian Colony.
