We'll explore the context, the men, women and organisations involved, their aims and challenges and the flow on effects of this significant social reform. You'll hear about local activists as well as prominent suffrage leaders such as Reverend Kirby, Sir Edward C Stirling, Mary Lee and Lady Mary Colton.
