A Day in the Life of a Conservator at Artlab Australia

Paper and books conservators during a treatment of a print (Artlab Australia)

A conservator’s day at Artlab Australia can be both challenging and rewarding in maintaining the state’s diverse collections and preserving fabulous artworks and precious historical items from private clients all over Australia and overseas. Don’t miss your chance to see our skilled conservators at work in the paintings, objects, paper and books, large projects and textiles laboratories. The conservators will chat to you about the projects they are working on which will give you an insight into the life of a conservator working in a large conservation centre in Adelaide’s North Terrace cultural precinct.
