Glenelg Air Raid Shelter Open Day

Glenelg Air Raid Shelter

Come down the stairs and explore the Glenelg Air Raid Shelter. Built during the Second World War, the Glenelg shelter was one of seven constructed in Adelaide’s most populous suburbs and formed part of a communication network. In 1995 the shelter was converted into a museum in honour of the service of local men and women in military conflicts. Entrance via steep stairs.
