Waikerie Heritage Walk

The River Murray at Waikerie (The Waikerie District Historical Society )

Enjoy a walk around the streets of Waikerie. Explore the history of the town, read the plaques along the way, and reminisce of days gone by as we celebrate 125 years since the settlement of Waikerie. Take a walk to the cliff-top lookout with views over the river, see the Ferry and Pumping Station or walk further along the track to the newly painted silos. Relax with a cuppa or something to eat at one of the many cafes in our town. Brochures available from the Visitor Information Centre, the Rain Moth Gallery and online at the Waikerie.com website.
