Pop-Up Exhibition of Vintage Magnetic Recording Equipment

Emidicta Magnetic Disc Recorder, EMI England 1951 (Keith Ellison)

A pop-up exhibition in the Telecommunications Museum of vintage magnetic recording equipment including wire recorders and a range of disc and tape-based recorders, many of which were manufactured in Australia in the 1940-50s. The Telecommunications Museum also houses an extensive range of telephone equipment and equipment from the original Telecom Museum in Electra House, North Terrace Adelaide.
