Wander around Australia's first viable metal mine, discovered in 1842, in operation from 1844 to 1878, with tributers continuing to mine above the water table until 1912. Following the interpretive signs, view the open cut mine, boiler house chimney, mine manager's house and beam engine house site. Approximately 1.5 km.
