Come for the Ride, Stay for the History

Camels collecting freight from train (State Library of South Australia)

Enjoy a trip on historic steam locomotives and carriages from the original Ghan and Great Northern Railway as you meander through the scenic Flinders Ranges. Take the time to explore Quorn, a typical Australian country town frozen in time. Visit the museum and marvel at the ‘new’ railway station built in 1916. Do a town tour and see the magnificent town hall, court house, shops and hotels from late 1870s. Gaze at St Matthew's, one of the famous Mallyon Churches. Rest, relax and recuperate in the Ranges.
