Walking Tour of Colonial Adelaide

Three fully booked tours gave locals a chance to refresh their knowledge of the colonial history of our beautiful city. (Thanks to Bob Brady and Yella Umbrella Walking Tours)

Lived in Adelaide all your life and lost track of the city's early history? Kickstart the Festival with a refresher of Adelaide’s colonial origins. Take a two-hour walk in the footsteps of the early pioneers. Discover how Wakefield, Hindmarsh, Light, Rundle, Hindley, Gouger, Angas and others contributed to the bold experiment that became South Australia. Tour starts at the Strathmore Hotel on North Terrace and finishes at the old Treasury Building (now the Adina Hotel). Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence 2018.
