Gondwanaland

Gondwana was the great Southern Hemisphere continent that began to break up in Jurassic times – around 150 million years ago. Evidence for the separation of Australia from other modern continents can be found in the similar plant species in each place. The walk will examine relevant plants from South America, Africa and even Antarctica.
