History through Dolls: Dolls, Bears, Toys & Collectables

Dolls made by Alice Soar in the 1930s/40s (Australian Plangon (Antique & Modern Doll) Collectors Club)

Dolls have played an important part of childhood for many years. They also represent changing fashions and accessories throughout history. Come along to our annual exhibition to see a display of dolls from the very earliest examples to more recent times. You may be lucky enough to see your childhood doll! Also on display will be other toys, teddy bears and collectables. Light refreshments available, face painting and activities for children, trading tables and the opportunity to pick up a bargain from our trash & treasure stall. Proceeds go to Autism SA.
