Anzac Biscuit Bake-Off: Women Feed the Troops in Wartime

Cook at home and bring your best 6-10 biscuits for judging. Or come and learn about the history of Anzac biscuits, taste and judge the entries. Cooks, be prepared to talk about your recipe. Is it a family recipe with a history? Judges, be prepared to choose the best biscuit and report on the characteristics you like. Women baked and sent Anzac biscuits to the troops in WWI and WWII. Food parcels were a critical support for servicemen. Note: there are no cooking facilities at the venue.
